Elena Gurevich was born to Russian Jewish parents in Kaliningrad. She gained her first musical experience from her father, who was chief conductor of the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra. Afterwards she studied piano and harpsichord in St. Petersburg, Jerusalem and Karlsruhe.
Gurevich already received many awards as a student of Rubin Music Academy in Jerusalem. She played as a soloist with renowned orchestras and chamber musician in European and Israeli concert halls. On this recording she plays works by Bach, Schubert, Rachmaninoff and Skrjabin
