With our album ‘Klingender Domschatz’, the Klais organ of Trier Cathedral, inaugurated in 1974, is presented like never before on its 50th birthday: the super audio CD comes as a special edition in an elegant A5 hardcover book with 60 pages numerous colour photos and detailed liner notes by Johannes Adam. A delight for your eyes and ears. A highlight of the album is the world premiere recording of Naji Hakim's composition ‘Von Gott gemacht’ for choir, soprano solo and two organs, a work commissioned on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the reopening of Trier Cathedral. This is the first ever 5.1 surround recording from Trier Cathedral.
