Herewith, we present the second and final instalment in Jan de Vriend's survey of Robert Schumann's symphonies. This volume includes symphonies nos. 3 and 4. The first volume was unanimously acclaimed by critics and audience. Jan de Vriend conducts the wonderful Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and they both enjoy the fantastic acoustic of the Fartein Valen hall, considered one of the best in the world.
