Long underestimated in their importance, Mozart's piano sonatas have long since found a firm place in the repertoire of pianists. They are often important fields of experimentation in which Mozart explores new compositional techniques and then later transfers these to the larger genres. This is exemplified by the three works now recorded by Amy Lin in her famously sensitive manner.
