In the 1920s, the Parisian music cabaret Le Boeuf sur le toît was a meeting place for artists, musicians and intellectuals. There was also a great deal of musical openness here: whether tangos, chansons, jazz, swing or the more traditional classical music, everything was heard here on a completely equal footing. The legendary clown trio Fratellini was one of the regular guests. Trio Lézard chose it as the name sponsor for this CD with different works from that time, which make the artistic atmosphere of departure in Paris tangible and present the sound diversity of the "Trio d'anches".
