Only gradually the whole range of French music of the late 19th and early 20th century is perceived in Germany. The worthwhile discoveries include the music of Théodore Dubois (1837-1924). He was a Rom-awardee, organist and e.g. director at the Paris Conservatoire. AEOLUS presents chamber music with organ and selected choir works by the composer.
