Scarcely expected works to be heard from the strict professor of composition are found on this disc-charming romances, waltzes with a Swiss air about them, or a nocturne with Chopinesque qualities, programmed side by side on this disc like pearls on a string. These are truly a pleasure to indulge in with a light French white wine... Santé!
