The symphonic works of the four Bach sons, which are so different from one another, provide a very vivid illustration of the various stylistic trends in this genre around the middle of the 18th century. The young, dynamic Italian Controcorrente Orchestra is making its CD debut here. As the name suggests, the musicians swim against the current and explore hidden gems of the repertoire.
