Mikhail Rudy is one of the major representatives of the Russian piano school in Europe. 1977 during a tour to France he decided not to return to his homeland, which was a deep gash, but certainly not a career break. Before he was „discovered“ by EMI, he recorded two remarkable CDs of works by Mussorgsky and Liszt for the French label CALLIOPE, which proved his extraordinary talent. On PHAIA the two important recordings will be reclaimed at an extremely attractive price.
